Page 113, #3. Student Rec
So the closest thing I could find to a school newspaper was the CSU Pueblo Today. Most of the articles aren't very argumentive, they're more just descriptive. The article I picked was the one on the Student Rec Center being open over the break. The Rec being over break is a good thing that it's available, but honestly there aren't many student's here over break that use it. It's nice that the Rec is open since we are paying a lot of money for it (even though it was donated and what not we still have to pay fees on it, nothing is really free!). The main person being interviewed is Jack Krider, the Director of student recreation. He thinks it is good to have the gym and pool open because of the classes that are offered. During the normal school semester the classes offered (yoga, kick boxing, hip-hop, etc.) are extremely popular, so it makes sense to offer them in the winter. But many students don't live in the city of Pueblo, but if they do they usually live in dorms, which are still their temporary home.
