Major premise: Famous musician's usually leave after the show and the term often used is "[insert artist name] has left the building". Managers do this so that the audience will sit down and listen to the next performer.
Minor premise: Elvis usually left after shows.
Conclusion: Elvis has left the building. Sit down and watch the next performer!
Major premise: When famous people die and have passed on some people say "[insert name] has left the building"
Minor premise: Elvis died.
Conclusion: Elvis has left the building.
I think you did a really good job on expanding the Major premise. And on finding other premises in the premise "Elvis has left the building." I hadn't thought of it applying to his death as well.
ReplyDeleteI totally support Randi's comment. I hadn't thought to apply Elvis' death to the premise. Nice! And the picture's a really good touch. :)
